From now until Christmas Glassblowing lessons are on Sale. So that means that our "Taste" class is now just $65 instead of $80. Our "Appetizer" class is just $130, that's a $30 savings. And our "Entree" class is $135 off. The only catch is you can't take your lesson until after January 10th when we're done making Christmas Ornaments. So if you've ever toyed with the idea of learning to blow glass, or know someone who has always loved the art form, now is the time to sign up for lessons. An Appetizer
An
introduction to the shop, tools, and equipment. An initial foundation
of body positioning and further explanation of glass as a material. A
paper weight and other solid sculpture will be made. This is the
perfect way to get into the shop and begin to understand glassblowing.
2 Hours- usually $160 now just $130
The Entree
Three,
3 hour classes which take you from the very beginning through to making
your first cup. The first will be an introduction to the shop, tools,
and equipment. The student will be provided with an initial foundation
of body positioning and further explanation of glass as a material and
its possibilities. Initially, basic solid working sculptural skills and
a familiarization with the material will be covered. A paper weight
will be made. In the second class how to make a bubble and transfer it
to a punti (steel rod) and how that evolves into a cup will be
practiced. The third class will combine the previous 2 classes skills

BA at The Evergreen State College in 1993. She has been working with
glass since 1989, blowing for the past four. Her work focuses on the
